Neil is based in Ipswich and is a proud season ticket holder at Ipswich Town. He watches the highs and the occasional wobble, alongside his father, a retired financial adviser, because advice really does run in the family.
At home he is outnumbered, living with his wife, two daughters and their Cockerpoo, Stan. When he is not at Portman Road, he is usually making the most of family life.
He is also still trying to play five a side once a week and is a regular in the gym, appreciating the value of staying active, even if the recovery time is not quite what it used to be.
